"Swans in Love" Wedding Cake Topper
This gorgeous topper is done in taupe, brown, off white and pure white. The base is a hand-designed taupe damask patterned paper, layered in glass glitter and trimmed with brown satin ribbon, pearl beading and a brown glittered hand-cut edging. Glitters were mixed to come up with the custom taupe color for the leaves. The baby pine cones are glittered in a rich brown. There are also ivory berries to add to the wooded charm. The stylized scrolled (taupe glittered) wave gives a hint of a pond, and has the two feathered, glittered swans above it. The idea is of two swans swimming and nuzzled within a private thicket, sharing a special moment…true love. The graceful scrolled banner has the name of the bride and groom, and is also layered in glitter. The back has gathered tulle in white and taupe to give a hint of water spray from the pond, finishing with a brown organza ribbon adorned with a glittered baby pine cone.
