After years of working in
retail shops, making art with children and staging formal Victorian teas,
Patricia bravely left all that behind and began a new career. She combined her
knowledge and passions – for pink Depression glass and old Valentine boxes,
vintage European paper cutting and assemblage, and 1920s-era hand-colored
papers and keepsakes – to begin her own line of cake toppers, party favors and
keepsake boxes for special occasions. Each assemblage is composed of carefully
glued and glittered layers. They are all exquisitely crafted and
original. The glitter is made of glass imported from Germany. It resembles
decorative tinted sugar or is silver-plated, naturally tarnishing to a vintage
luster. All papers and laces are meticulously hand-cut and hand-tinted. Hours
of work go into each custom-made piece. Her enchanting one-of-a-kind designs are handcrafted with originality and whimsical artistry.
